Dr Jireh Serfontein
I’m passionate about all aspects of sexual health and offer a wide range of sexual health related services. HIV management, STI management, contraception, painful sex, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are some of my special interests.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
I qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Pretoria in 2009. Since 2013, I have been working exclusively in the field of Sexual Medicine, and in 2014, I obtained a Diploma in HIV Management from the College of Medicine in South Africa. Most recently, I completed a Master’s Degree in Sexual Health in 2017, through the University of Sydney in Australia.
I am part of the team at My Sexual Health – a multidisciplinary team of Sexual Health Professionals in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Our team of Sexual Healthcare Providers and Sexologists are all registered with the Southern African Sexual Health Association (SASHA) and our applicable professional boards.

EDUCATIONAL TALKS
I enjoy educating people and creating awareness around sexual health, and I have done numerous educational talks for pharmaceutical companies, including Aspen, Sanofi, Cipla and MSD. I was also invited by the Department of Tourism to be a guest speaker on World AIDS day in 2015.
