Painful sex in women: causes and cures
Although one in five women will experience painful intercourse at some stage, this remains a taboo topic. Dr. Jireh Serfontein discusses possible reasons why love-making hurts, including the role of oral contraceptives and vaginismus. Treatment may incorporate specialized physiotherapy, dilators, and counselling. This problem also affects intimate relationships and partners; fortunately, medical help is available.

PrEP & PEP
PrEP is a prevention method used by people who are HIV-negative and at high risk for being exposed to HIV through sexual contact or injection drug use. PEP refers to the use of antiretroviral drugs for people who are HIV-negative after a single high-risk exposure to stop HIV infection.
